Evidence/Property Room Audits

When the responsibility of the property room transitions to a new chief we highly recommend that a transition audit be performed. Conducting the audit identifies any issues present under the previous leadership and provides a reset for the new leader.

As evidence and property grows, you may soon outgrow the space you have allocated.  It is key to have a policy in place outlineing the length of time to keep property.  In addition, there should be a process of what happens to the property when disposed of.
